What this is

Opinion-Talk is a small social site for short opinions. You write up to 280 characters, and other people vote it up or down, reply to it, or save it to read later. You can follow accounts and block accounts.

The feed is newest first. There is no ranking algorithm, no promoted posts and no advertising anywhere on the site.

Who runs it

Opinion-Talk is an independent project run by Nicolas Unica, based in Madrid, Spain, and not a company. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to X (formerly Twitter) or any other platform, whatever the layout may remind you of.

What it costs

Nothing. Every feature is free, there is no paid tier, and no personal data is sold or rented to anyone.

Reaching a person

One address handles everything: NicolasUnica@proton.me. Support, bug reports, account deletion, privacy requests, copyright complaints and moderation appeals all arrive in the same inbox and are answered by the person running the site, usually within a few days. There is no phone line and no live chat.
